The Department of Education published its new Title IX regulations today, April 19, 2024, which create new rules for how institutions address and respond to reports of sex discrimination, sex-based harassment, sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. With an effective date of August 1, 2024, institutions will now need to train Title IX Coordinators, investigators, decision-makers, and others and update its Title IX policy and grievance procedures.
Join us on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 12:00-1:30 CDT, with 30 minutes of Q & A to follow, for a live webinar to discuss what you need to know about the Title IX regulations. We will cover the requirements of the new regulations, what decisions institutions need to make as they move toward compliance during the implementation window, and practical recommendations. The training will also be available on demand following the live webinar. Institutions that are currently part of our unlimited training program, will have access to this webinar at no additional charge. Our training will be conducted by Higher Education attorneys specializing in Title IX compliance who have communicated with the Department of Education on these very issues.
